Precision 3 Maintenance Kit

Received the plastic cap, but no (rubber) seal!
That was what I actually wanted, so I was very disappointed :(

Similar to previous negative comments, ordered replacement cap. Cost $30 with shipping. Replacement cap would not “lock” into place. Printing on replacement cap did not come with “lock” and “unlock” printing. Unable to secure the cap. Will attempt to engage with a live person tomorrow to express my utter frustration.

Cheap little caps don't work. I own six 4iiii power meters and 2 are not working due to bad caps. These replacements don't work for $45, really? I swap caps between meters to get the meters to work. Batteries are all new name brand and the voltage checks at 3.29V. It's the cheap caps and there's no alternative except to buy more for a crazy high price for what junk these are.

I was disappointed that the cover failed - the plastic notch that locks it in place broke - the second time I changed my power meter battery. That was unacceptable. This never happened with my Stages power meter on my previous bike. Then to see that they cost US$15 was just nuts. The shipping was almost as much as the cover itself. Seriously?!?! If there's a known issue with covers, then solve the problem but the high cost for the replacement and shipping was not right.

I concur with David on those points.
1. The plastic parts from 4iiii seem to crumble after two years, certainly the case with pervious plastic parts.
2. The cost of a cover and o-ring is extremely high at CAD$19.99. In fact, I got 100 o-rings online for a fraction of the cost.
3. The cost of shipping ONLY one of these covers overseas is $39 USD - on top of the price of any other shipping charges is a kind of extortion.
4. And, 4iiii does not offer other options for shipping overseas. None.
