I bought a Shimano 105 Ride Ready Precision 3+ Powermeter and it worked great - for the first year. Beginning of year two, no signal to my Wahoo bike computer, battery must be dead. Simple I thought, I'll change the battery. I watched the instructional video and that video is the worst explanation possible. They make it seem so easy, but it is not. The child safety clip is SO difficult to use. I cut my finger trying to open the battery cover and bent the clip back just enough that the first spin of the crank made a big scratch in the chainstay of my bike. I figured I'd try the Apple Find My feature but I never could get that to work. The iphone would recognize the powermeter, but it would never finish the setup process. Reattaching the battery cover is quite difficult with the safety clip in the way. I hope it does not fall off on my next ride. I find myself checking the battery cover all the time and I have no confidence that it will stay put. I'm definitely selling this powermeter and choosing something else for my next bike. As a powermeter, it works fine, but it is hard to live with.
