The strap can be an issue and I do not see the people saying they had issues with the strap failing saying they contacted customer service to get a resolution to their problems. It seems to me you did not give 4IIII a chance to resolve the issue your having with the straps. I believe your issues are your fault because you neglected to contact customer service.
I have had 2 straps fail and each time they sent me a brand new unit to replace the failed unit free of charge. Both times they said they would be glad to replace the whole unit with a new one free of charge. They sent it by FedEx and I had a brand new unit in four days.
You should not be complaining about 4iiii when you did not give them an opportunity to resolve the problem you are having with their product,
