How does it work?

The PRECISION 3+ PRO Powermeter is so much more than a power meter. It’s your training partner that offers peace of mind. While you are riding, your PRECISION 3+ PRO Powermeter will transmit watts, cadence, and calories to your head unit of choice. While the power meter is not in use, Find My is enabled and allows you to see its location on a map. You can add your power meter to the Find My app and locate it on an iPhone, iPad, Mac or using the Find Items app on an Apple Watch.

In the Box

Once your ride-ready PRECISION 3+ PRO Powermeter arrives, it just needs to be installed on your bike using the standard Shimano crank installation process. Connect a head unit or computer, and you can start riding with power. Connect to the Find My app with your iPhone or iPad to start tracking your power meter.

Compatibility

There are select bike frames with wide/flared BB shells that may present clearance challenges for the right side power meter. If you have questions about your bike’s clearance please contact us at support@4iiii.com prior to sending us your crankset.

Indoors

Disappointed

Finally dicided to write a review after 16 months of using a double sided power meter which was installed at factory on a new Dura Ace cranks. Shipment was good and it took about two weeks to get it back. First of all, batteries don't last more than 50 hours, I believe they advertise 800 hours. Secondly, connectivity to my head unit is hit and miss. Very often I have to remove devices in 4iiii app and add them again in order to connect to the head unit. Between battery and connectivity issues most of the times I end up riding without power meter and cadence. Generally, I am very disappointed, it was a waste of money.

Functioning smoothly

The setup of the double power meter was a little confusing and just how tight to make the screws on the crankset one is a bit of guess work but I love being able to read my left/right differences. The connection to my meter is immediate and much faster than my old Stages meter on another bike. I’m glad I went with 4iiii.

I purchased the Shimano Utegra dual power meter setup and love it. Easy to install, set up, and use!

Power meter precision pro 3+

The product is good and easy to setup. The only thing is I found that the power seems to be a little bit low. I have no other device to compare with but I did a 36kmph ride and my average power was 210 watt. It could be right but I find it a little bit low for that speed. And I always do a calibration before riding and make sure the crank arm adapt to the outside temperature. If you think is ok please let me know. I also tried to perform a factory reset and I always get a failure.

In terms of calibration, we recommend calibrating the powermeter prior to every ride with the cranks in the vertical position - left crank pointed down. As long as the calibration is successful, you can be confident that the powermeter is measuring power accurately.
